A quick note before you proceed...

We are glad to see you using more.groupware. We regret that you probably have some problem (why else would you read this page?). And we do happily try to help you as much as we can through the ways listed below.

You might want to read catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html to learn how to ask questions that will get you useful answers.  Please note that the authors of that FAQ are *not* a more.groupware help desk!

Please only write to the developers directly if you think that it is really urgent. And if you need quick support, you should think about spending some money on it - have a look at the section about commercial support, or donate to the developers through SourceForge.net.

Thanks for your understanding!

Mailing lists

A great resource for getting help with more.groupware are the mailing lists. We have different lists dealing with different topics.

The user list is meant for all users, all kind of questions can be asked there. The devel list is targeted at current or future developers of more.groupware, so read this if you want or need to know more about the internals of the application.

The interface list is for the UI development group which will research ways to make more.groupware even easier and more intuitive to use.

The docs list helps all those working on the documentation to coordinate their efforts and talk about possible problems and solutions.

If you actively develop more.groupware, you might want to have a look at the tracker and cvs lists, which get all tracker notifications and cvs committ messages.

Go to the SourceForge.net Lists Page to subscribe and access the archives!

The more.groupware FAQ

The FAQ for more.groupware is available at the link below. It uses the phpMyFAQ system, which allows you to freely submit proposals for FAQ entries, and allows you to ask questions for others to answer. This is of course ony useful, if everbody has a look at the open questions from time to time, and gives answers whatever he or she can...

Trackers for Bugs, Patches, RFEs, Support

The SourceForge.net Trackers contain a lot of information as well. So if you think you have found a bug, go there to check. If you have a neat idea for a feature that's still missing, add it. Add your patch or ask your question.

Just try to avoid adding something that's already reported, invest a few minutes to check for this, please...
