Core Features

more.groupware is split into a core part, and individual modules. Some of those modules are packaged along with the core, others are not (see the download page). Some of the core features that are worth being mentioned:

Contact Management

more.groupware has a contact management module that allows you to keep track of contacts (both individuals and companies) easily.

Entries can be grouped, indivduals can be assigned to companies, you can print lists with phone numbers, import and export vCard files, ad more.

Here are two screenshots:

Webmail

Of course more.groupware has a webmail module. If can be used as IMAP client, and it can store mails fetched from IMAP or POP3 accounts into it's own database/filesystem based storage.

It can use a virus scanner and has features to secure HTML emails, supports multiple folders, and much, much more...

Calendar modules

Every groupware application needs a way to coordinate appointments. We even have two modules (due to historical reasons), one that has been written by Thomas Bley, the author of the webmail module, and the older one, that has found a new maintainer in Matthieu Paineau.

Both allow you to schedule appointments, invite participants, view various calendar views, and much more you usually expect from a calendar application.

File Management

To make it possible to share files, more.groupware offers a file management module. It allows you to upload or create files, organize them in folders, view their details (this includes archive contents e.g.), download them or send them via the webmail module.

The possibility to create text files and edit them directly even allows you to use the module for keeping track of protocols, notes and other texts.

Project management

Planning and keeping track of projects is a tedious task. To help with it, more.groupware offers a project management module, that allows you to define projects and assign tasks to them.

Tasks have their own time and status fields, can be subtasks of another task and depend on each other. All this can be visualized in GANTT charts.

and more...

The selection above should list the most popular parts of any groupware application, but it is not a complete list of all the modules more.groupware has to offer. These are available as well:
