We are glad to welcome you on the more.groupware website. The project aims to be a complete web-based groupware application based on open source components like PHP, MySQL and Apache. It features most of the things you'd expect from such an application, read more on the following pages.
The project was started as an inhouse tool by Marc Logemann (at his former employer) and has been open-sourced quickly after it was born. Marc was the driving force behind it for the first two years, and from the start a lot of people have helped with coding, testing, translating and documentation.
From 2002 until 2006 another company from Germany called fishfarm netsolutions invested a noticable amount of time in the progress of more.groupware. Have a look at the sponsors page as well!
By now the project has become a solid foundation for future work and is already used in quite a few places for day-to-day work.
